| The
CHAMPAGNE-ARDENNE Region is in a leading position
in packing-packaging and is supported by the
PACKAGING VALLEY® association created for
and by the industrialists themselves to support
development of the activity.
This organisation, which has set its geographical
limits to cover the Champagne-Ardennes region,
brings together almost 230 manufacturers of
packing, materials, packing and packaging machines,
as well as a large number of research and training
centres with internationally recognised skills.
Its missions are to foster the development of
firms in the activity through training, information,
counselling research and promotion initiatives,
as well as to ensure its own development and
promotion to gain a reputation as a centre of
excellence at a European level.
To do so, Packaging Valley benefits from support
from Europe, the French State and regional authorities
within the scope of a professional branch partnership
contract.
Packaging Valley works in favour of the implementation
and development of the Champagne-Ardenne Logistic
Packing-Packaging Centre alongside ESIEC (the
Packing & Packaging higher engineering school),
who are leaders when it comes to dedicated training
and CNRT/EC (National Centre for Technological
Research / Packing-Packaging), whose mission
is to organise public and/or private research
dedicated to the activity.
